Its Malaysian I think but you get it in Singapore - sounds the same with the spices.

Tea here always drunk black and sweet. Can pick it not far from here.

Just finished Sahur - nice Tenderloin today.

 

I fancied a curry tonight so made a lamb and potato one earlier, then went to work..just got in not long back..

Just unwinding now...fancying something sweet

 

I had a fish and squid curry last night as well with Roti Prata - very nice. Love a lamb curry but not much lamb here - mostly goat.

I get the same craving for sweet things in the evening - must be because your blood sugar is low and you can raise it quicker with simple sugars.

Typical drink to end fast is this:

Syrup merah (very sweet red coconut syrup, fresh coconut, coconut water, jack fruit, tapai (fermented cassava). Its about 2 days supply of sugar in one drink. Follow that with a few beef rissoles:

I couldn’t do Ramadan. Firstly, in the summer I go to bed when it’s still light so I would never eat. Secondly, I’m not Muslim.

true theres a huge muslim population in west china (i think). They are currently being suppressed a bit by the chinese government if you were to believe the media over here (i dont know if they are or not)
