The subject deserves its own thread.
The most beautiful place in the world is the Hebridean island of Harris. The wild orchids on Barra knock the Chelsea Flower Show into a cocked hat.
The Isles of Scilly, known as The Fortunate Islands, has to be seen.
The Volcanic Island of Madeira, although the levada walks are scary for those like me who suffer fro vertigo.

Other places like The Lake District, The Highlands, Cornwall, The Yorkshire Dales, The Galloway Hills, Lulworth Cove are recommended to anyone who likes that sort of thing.

I am an avid walker and I don’t have to go that far to see great Countryside and woods, Eynsford, Shoreham, Otford. Wonderful parks in Greenwich and Knoll. Even to walk around Danson Park in the sunshine is a pleasure.
Great parks in London, St James, Green, Hyde.

Our drama society are doing our annual ramble around Shoreham on the 24th June. Followed by a visit to a local pub.

We use to stay at a place called Nabb cottage on Rydal water, spent most days either kayaking or rowing a small boat over to the island to fish. Happy days and memories.

Based on the title I thought this was a thread about pimples and birthmarks - something of a relief to discover I was mistaken.

Robin Hood's Bay in Yorkshire is a beautiful spot.
And the Callanish stone circle on Lewis. I find all stone circles fascinating, but the remotest ones can usually claim the most natural beauty.
Such peaceful places too - in the colder months when there are few other tourists about.

Speaking as an avowed Jockophile, the Isle of Arran is a particularly beautiful part of the world.

You cannot beat driving over Dartmoor in Devon on a misty morning.

I visited Eagle Heights for the first time yesterday. Picturesque, not exactly a beauty spot. It featured a flying display by several birds of prey, including Keyla, a Bald Eagle, who was rescued from being put down in Canada, and is now used by palace as their mascot. She is none the worse for being punched by the yob who shamed our club.
Now you're talking, the Highlands in miniature. Done Arran many times, it's pretty local to Kilmarnock (which no-one has ever called beautiful).

I caught a train to Glasgow, then a train to Stranraer (?), and then a boat to the Isle of Arran. What a magnificent place. It even boasts its own micro climate. It was not unusual to see warm sunshine quickly followed by a monsoon.

Other places in Scotland I like visiting include the Ayr coast, Stirling, Pitlochry and Fort William.

The latter was in my erstwhile smoking companion Charles Kennedy’s seat #RIP

If you ever get the chance, Hallstatt in Austria is worth a visit.
Amazing in the winter but even better in the Summer.

I'm off to Constable Country for a few days. A walk to Willy Lott's Cottage is first on the 'to do' list. :)
