It reminds me of how I couldn't understand the people who thought being relegated might be fun. There's no such thing as coasting around the Championship, throwing a bit of money around and competing for promotion. Aston Villa spent everything they could, they're about to lose parachute payment money, and it's going to hurt. https://7500toholte.sbnation.com/20...cial-fair-play-reckless-spending-consequences
Looks like Graham Potter will be the new Swansea boss. He was linked with Saints when we were looking for a Pellegrino replacement after his amazing transformation of Östersunds FK. Could be a genius appointment or swiftly end in tears...
I think him starting in the Championship will be better for him and then, as opposed to starting in the Premier League.
Cant speak for anyone else , but IIRC , I only said I got more pleasure from watching games in the Championship ( and L 1 come to that ) . That was my only point .
I remember those cheating bastard kicked lumps out of Bales in the first leg and he missed the return. Wasn’t it that oversized brute Steve Howard they had upfront? And didn’t Surman score a screamer in the top left corner?
Yes Yes Yes I remember Billy “**** Chops” Davies signaling to their players after we ripped them apart for 20 minutes, pointing at Bale. Next minute they started kicking him. The return at No Pride Park, started awfully with SKD flapping at a corner after about three minutes and we were 1-0 down. We then came back brilliantly apart from those bleeding penalties. Didn’t Best get an Og that night too?
He did, one Virgini of Sunderland would subsequently be proud of. I remember my very well educated Headmaster of a father turned to me when their Manager did that and called him an odious little ****!
Yep, he also got caught offside about 6 times in the last 10 minutes of normal time giving Derby opportunity to waste time, luckily Rasiak scored in injury time to take it to extra time. I don't remember much about ET, but no doubt Best ****ed up some more then missed the first pen (**** knows why he was allowed to take the first one) and we lost. Yeah I'm over it
Because I have lots of relatives who live near Exeter ( Cullompton , & Bradninch where my Mum was born and we spent lots of time there in 1973 ) . Younger sister lives there and Nephew was born there . I don't mind the fans one bit , as I posted earlier ( Sisu , could have been us ) But I have a warmth for Exeter . Not sure if any of the above makes sense , but , TBH , I don't currently give a flying F**K !
Yes, but we were doing well and with that comes promotion or painful failure. Not so much fun if we are bobbing in the middle of the league....we might as well be in the EPL for that.
