lol.. there are some beautiful spots around there. Used to spend a lot of time surfing at Fistral beach when I lived up that way. Crantock beach down the road is stunning. You should defo come back. Were you there last night ? I flew into Newquay around 10pm in a mother of all thunder storms, it was a ****ing hair raising landing.
What's that big pub in Crantock called again? Became a bit of a secret house night? Was great, good dj's and you could biff up and pop E freely!
Yeah ****ing huge storm lol and yeah definitely be back one day, saw some beautiful scenery and would like to spend a few days down there.
Yep still going. It's a bit more 'family friendly' these days. But they still have lots of gigs and host classic car meets and the like. One of the best places near there now is the Watering Hole on Perranporth beach. They are booking some amazing acts, I've seen KRS-1, The Pharcyde play there and I think they've got the Stranglers playing there soon (not my cup of tea, but massive band). Whoever is booking their acts must have some good contacts. Great pub, right on the beach. But one day that place is going to get obliterated by a big storm.
There were people screaming on my flight. It was pretty spectacular. You should come back mate, Cornwall is beautiful in the summer.
We're sat her talking about next summer's trip and Cornwall is getting serious consideration. I'd rather Ireland myself but it would save on the ferry. We'll no doubt come.back from France this summer and just go back again next!
Also thinking of going Cornwall at some point. Go Devon all the time but it's been a while since I've stepped foot on Cornish soil. I saw a video a good few months back showing a beach which has a section where people swim inbetween two giant rocks, anyone know the name of the beach/ area by any chance? Wouldn't mind going there.
Been for a drive through the New Forest and a kickabout with my lad. Now going to have a nice pub meal and drink.
