Haven't seen any breakdowns, but I'd guess most of their players are way overpaid for what they offer in the Championship.

Essentially, I imagine it'll be PL wages+ in the second tier.

To all the people giving Bruce ****, I would take him back anyday. He could walk into the job as manager here whenever he wants.

I wouldn't take Bruce if he paid me for the opportunity.

A monumental **** and as he's just proved, not a good manager either.

Apparently Kettering Town have scored the most goals in the FA Cup.
    Villa have conceded the most.

Most of Kettering Towns goals were scored in the qualifying rounds, which is different.
If Villa have conceded 539 but have the highest + goal difference of 305 they must have scored 844. All in the proper rounds of the FA Cup.

From Villa’s own list of records - More goals in the history of the FA Cup than any other league club, 817 to date.

Many of these records are a bit of a farce anyway, if you were beating amateurs 13-0 in the 1880’s, it makes the figures rather pointless.

True. Funny how the figures quoted in the list meant Villa must have scored the same as Kettering, 844, but Villa themselves only say 817. Who to believe?

It hasn't stopped them offering eye watering wages and transfer fees for the likes of Scott Hogan, Jonathon Kodjia, John Terry and all the rest...

Terry’s on £80k a week, by far their best paid player and he was signed less than a year ago.

So Fulham have had a more successful season than City and City have had a more successful season than Villa. Maybe City is the best run club in the league?

Pound per position, I think everyone's had a better season than Villa.

    Even Sunderland.
