That game will define his career. There can surely be no chance of him coming back from that at Liverpool?
I don't think so. He could let it make him stronger but at the end of the day he's not of the required standard. I hope he gets over it elsewhere.
I think ego might also be an issue - though tbf he does come across as quite level headed. Your best players, like Erikson and Kane, seem quite humble. It's all about the team with Pochettino isn't it? Not sure an established World Class superstar would fit your manager's vision.
Depends how much strength of character he can show. Keepers all make **** ups occasionally. If he lets his confidence get shot to bits, then he's in trouble, but if he's a real pro, he won't. He'll work extra hard and wait for his opportunity - at whatever club.
There’s **** ups and there’s **** ups though, and he made 2 of the worst you’ll ever see, in a CL final! I can’t see any future for him at Liverpool, as there’ll always be that nagging doubt in the minds of fans and players alike.
Yeh I think I agree. The closest comparison I can think of is Seaman in the 2002 WC. Seaman got over it and his reputation isn't marred by his cock up on the world stage, but the difference was Seaman was already established as a quality goalkeeper and he continued to be after that. Karius has no such prior reputation and he's just made it a whole lot harder to acquire one!
Seriously that was not intentional by Ramos...btw Arms tangled, Mo got his fall wrong Edit: wrong thread
