I wonder what squad number we’ll give him. 3 and 11 are currently occupied. Maybe 9 seeing as Janssen will have lost that after going on loan.

Hypothetically speaking of course, IF there was any remote possibility of him coming back, I’d expect us to sell Lamela to make way for him. So he’d get his number 11.

I haven't seen that much of Real Madrid but what I have seen has never led me to believe that a player of Bales quality should be on the bench. If I were him I would be out of there like a shot, football careers are short.

Which is also why he shouldn’t sign for United. <whistle>

    Fair enough. Makes sense.

  6. Did I miss it or hasn't the national Day of Mouser Mourning been announced yet?? Either for the defeat or the brutal assault on a defenceless Salah? <laugh>

Pop over to the Prem board.

It's been quite entertaining the past 12 or so hours <laugh>

I'm nursing a sizeable hangover this morning and waiting for a good old telling off when Mrs B returns from work. She made me watch the CL Final with her and her sister, who is a Mouser. The mates that she normally goes to games with were out in Kiev. I tried to tell Mrs B that it wasn't a good idea.....you'd have thought that after more than 25 years she'd know better......

I was pretty 'jovial' after watching John Terry lose in the Play Off game.......for jovial read fairly pissed and very happy. I managed to keep a straight face...ish for the first Karius **** up. However, a man's only flesh and blood and the second one was more than I could take.

Anyone got a sofa that I can kip on whilst this blows over?

    Football, eh? Bloody hell.

  9. I avoided it - what with Gareth's Spurs connection - can imagine the Trainwreck of emotions <laugh>

I avoided the same scenario for the EL Final against Sevilla couple of years ago by saying...."This won't end well. Don't do it." I got away with that one.

Why Mrs B wouldn't listen this time, I'm not sure but you're absolutely right. It was always going to end badly and only an idiot would have thought otherwise. An excuse that I'll not be hiding behind when I'm taking my medicine. Even I'm not that daft.

No sign of Karius - he missed the flight! <laugh>

The Mousers have increasingly got their hands full these days. What with the ongoing hate campaign for HK, Dele and now having to fit in Sergio Ramos, finding time to post death threats against Karius and his family is going to make supporting the club a full time occupation.

How are they going to fit in going to their paid employme..........Oh.

Karius was like a version of Gomes in our 2011
CL encounters with Madrid, but with the dial turned to 11.
