Tottenham fans didn't get carried away we hoped to get top 4 again last season and ended up missing out but everyone still recognised it as a great season.

Didn't get carried away? Realy? Maybe you were an exception. It was a good season that is true.

When you can't come up with any intelligent response, put a silly laugh in, instead <doh>

There is a clear opportunity for Liverpool and that is for them to capitalize whilst spurs and arsenal have got their current suspension/injury worries. The big problem is their problems are not going to last all season so we have make sure we try and get a big a lead over them as we can.

Arsenal will get better when they have their first team out and will still be close to the top four, spurs i am not so worried about as they were only just better than us last year and we have strengthened considerably but it will just be easier if we have a lead over them.

Are people really getting this carried away after 2/3 games?

The remainder of the transfer window will be extremely important.
Spurs and Arsenal need to buy well and both clubs' chairmen need to take a look at how they've dealt with this window.

But after the start both teams have had, it is just as plausible that liverpool would pick up more points than arsenal from the next two games.

Be interesting to see what the bookies think is the more plausible outcome.

Is saying we have an opportunity to push for 4th/3rd really getting carried away?

No, but saying that Liverpool are better than Chelsea is.

Don't think there is that much in it at the moment myself. however, if they can get themselves sorted they have the squad to perform much better, that is a big IF though.

The transfer officially closes when 'Arry closes his driver side window of his car. For the next 3 days it will consist of him sitting outside the training ground, talking out of his window/arse calling a load of players triffic but failing to buy a single one he wants.

Chelsea seem to have a lot more strength in depth though, especially up front.
I'd still suggest that there's quite a gulf.

I was responding to District Line in an ironic way, as he responded with a "<laugh>" when I made a similar comment.

Don't comment on things you don't understand, makes you look thick. <ok>

Thanks for your valued opinion, bin man.

It's a perch, but spelt wrongly to see which Spurs fan can pick up on it in order to distract from their terrible defeat yesterday!

Really Ensil, becoming a grammar Nazi? I thought you had more in your locker than that.

There is 1 table that liverpool do top. The delusional fans table. Closely followed by spurs and west ham of course!

As I said on paper they have a good squad but it is about getting them to play although I would put chelsea just about ahead it is only just.

IMO either team will have to go on a surprisingly good/bad run for there to be much of a gap come end of season.

It's as in go forth and multiply, as in, if the defeat yesterday embarrasses you that much that you need to correct spelling as an attempt at diversion then you can..........

If we're being really picky, then actually it's correct both ways.
