Cunning, cynical horrible ****er Ramos. 5 officials presumably all do their homework on the players and see fook all.

And the replay shows the ref 5 yards away with a clear view.

Ramos knew exactly what he was doing holding on to the wrist. 30% of Liverpool gone with Salah from the high pressing triggers to the obvious offensive threat. You can see a huge difference in the shape of the game since he went off.

Rio reckons it was good defending <doh>. It's only good if refs turn a blind eye to cheating.

Exactly, it is good if you get away with it.

All academic when your keeper gifts 2 goals though. Disappointing final. Not what I hoped for. Was hoping we'd see 2 sets of attacks tear at the defences.

I am hoping that the manageress at the local betting shop was only kidding when she said that she would bar anyone that did not support Liverpool. I was a neutral hoping for the goal-fest that never happened.

In the pub watching the game, a friend had backed 14/1 nil-nil (that I told him had no chance), which lasted 50 minutes. He had also done both teams 2-1, so Karius will not be getting a Christmas card from him! I guess his beer will not be free on a night out in Scouseland now...

Any mug that did the Ronaldo and Salah both to score bet was done before half-time. The Ronaldo/Salah to score anytime was also a skinner for the layers.

I guess I will have to wait until Tuesday to see all the miserable fans in the office, assuming they have not forgotten a day later than their normal misery period.

Madrid the more street-wise team ....................... suicide from Liverpool's keeper.

A taste of things to come this summer with the World Cup? Can't see past the Germans ................

The World Cup with VAR. I'm expecting games to last about 4 hours.

I hope the game is remembered for the Bale amazing overhead kick and not our keepers mistakes, but I have a feeling it won’t. YNWA

A superb performance from Bale and surely he will be moving this summer. No idea why Zidane hasn’t given him more game time. Just reading the post-match interviews, if CR’s head gets much bigger he will be reminiscent of a greasy Frank Sidebottom <laugh>

Karlos, under the most trying of circumstances that I can remember in football for many years, you retain your sense of humour, and you can be very proud of your team. Being a cursed southerner by birth and upbringing in London (and SW outskirts later), I was never much on Liverpool (I do remember well the RAF recruitment centre at Padgate! :emoticon-0100-smile), but I really do hope Jürgen Klopp and club go one better next season. Kloppy's a bit crackers sometimes, recall some of his crazy antics with Dortmund, but he's one hell of a manager. Good luck!

Agree, but Bale did struggle with full fitness for much of the season? Maybe Zidane should get a bit of credit for going easy with him and giving him time to recover? However, you are quite right, don't think Zidane is the manager for Bale. Yep, Ronaldo is cocky but still a great great footballer. Bale ain't no shy little pussycat either?

Why is it that rugby can use video technology to great effect yet with football there seems to be much confusion over its use. What's more is they can't event make the right decision when relying on it sometimes which is laughable.

The other thing is that with rugby it adds to the drama when you can hear the ref talking ...football we have no commentary and lots of confusion..it's piss poor to be honest...leave the mikes on and if it picks up on footballers swearing fine them/ban them for a number of games etc.

the game are fundamentally different , rugby has loads of stoppages in play., the gathering of scrums , lineouts , ruck and maul , to attempt to do that to football would destroy the game as we know it , personally football has done well over hundred years , of course the camera industry would say otherwise .....
