What the Baggies don't get is that Radio Five Comm's said quote " The Baggie's being the HOME team should be doing more to win this" Not sure what they expected us to do with NO forwards on the bench? To be fair Potts,I think we`d be pretty gutted and bitter because no matter how bad we play,we beat them!!The wife`s cousin is a season ticket holder,and although we are both fanatical about football it`s a taboo subject . Anyway looking forward to the next couple of days,and hope we get a couple of new forwards ,midfielders and left back,how aboutalacios,Bendtner,SWP,Bridges and Jenas.
Joe Fair enough but I've read that link Sgt posted Begovic made ONE great save? Shows how entertaining the Baggie's actually were doesn't it. I think Joe you will remember the GREAT Liverpool sides of the 70s. I once had to sit and watch us outfootball them and we lost one nil.. that's football Joe. I know we didn't play well but, we ALWAYS beat them and it's not always by nicking a win.
Well, lets face it we really could beat West Brom with a side consisting of no more than 5 people. One day they will beat us, and one day I will win the lottery. Every year they get on their high horse, and every year they fall off.Begovic made one more save than Foster, and they are the home side! I have seen WBA actually beat us 6-0, (garth Crooks scored twice for the Baggies) - now I don't think it's even worth getting excited about when we play them. 5 to 2 at the Bookies to win - like taking candy from a Baby!
It will be interesting to see where they finish at the ned of the season? They looked good in the later part of last season and obviously finished above us, but thye have had an awful few games!
I think they'll finish mid table like last season I reckon. They've had a tough start to the season but they've got a good squad, with some very good players, i.e. Long, Odemwingie, Tchoyi.
I think they need Odemwingi Spelling back from injury. But, their defence isn't the best and that is where Tony Pulis has it right at least. We DID defend very well. Are you listening Mr Wenger
Hi ricc, I have been on holiday and first day back at work tomorrow. You've guessed it, I work with quite a few fully paid up and no doubt disgruntled baggies! He he he, I will be grinning from ear to ear all day I can tell you!!! Three points in the bag and one harassed looking Roy Hodgson once again, he must hate us neanderthals old Roy.
