Watched it again ... and I'm a "all for the guy to decide his fate" type .... but Hayes trainer/team should never work again in boxing. . It's not wwe ... your man is getting hit for real. Hayes was never fit for that.... and I don't mean it as an excuse, I mean just fit for fighting.
Hayes got his pay day. He could have got seriously hurt. Prefight he was on about training smarter, well it just shows you can't cut corners
Giro d'Italia turned on its head yesterday..........................what a day. Looks like Froome's now #wheresmyinhaler
saw the last 45km and wondered what had happened so watched the highlights on Eurosport. Absolutely incredible day and a stunning performance by Froome though if he falters today like he did after his prev stage win Dumoulin might still snatch it. Shame about Yates - 35 mins !
You have to feel for Yates, I think he just put too much into previous stages and there was nothing left in the tank. Such a tough sport
serious argument can be made for him being possibly the best British sportsmen ever but it won't happen because a) cycling is a minority sport here b) The drug allegations hanging over Cycling and Sky in particular c) He is Kenyan
Yeah, right on all counts. From the a) sport of cycling point of view this should make bigger waves than it will but b) will always provide the question marks And c)
I'll go with b. Not a clean man anywhere near a title in cycling. If you don't mix testosterone boosters with your morning porridge youre going to get left behind in the first mile.
doesn't take away from the achievement in some ways since during the peak of doping no one achieved it. If you're referring to the Salbutomal whilst an offence it isn't in same category as steroids etc.
