Given the sheer ability in that Spurs team, it’s merely a great indicator of their overachieving. Spurs fans would never celebrate mediocrity which happened to have them above a rival.

You're forgetting the importance of CL progression in terms of global appeal, mate. We've had a better season than you win or lose tonight, to deny this fact is madness
Just my opinion, mate. Personally I’d value a CL final over finishing one place higher. If you’d got to the semis I’d have had you par but your European campaign was well below par in the end. You did make an FA cup semi though. That was good for you.
