According to Blunderside this is the CD we're looking at.

    Not impressed.

According to Wikipedia he's a right full back who can play central defender (a bit like Macca).

Sure we tried to sign him as a Central Defender.

    Wikipedia states:-
Despite Hull City chairman Paul Duffen revealing that the Tigers had agreed a fee with Newcastle United to sign Beye on 6 August 2009, it was announced the following day that Beye had signed for Aston Villa.

Anyway, according to Blunderside he's our target.
    We'll see.

I think Beye is a brilliant player, I was disappointed when we missed out on him last time, though to be honest, I can't remember ever seeing him play anywhere other than right back.

I reckon this is Blunderside recycling old non-information in order to make a story.

I also think Beye is a good player to have around but he isn't a CB.

I think we should hang on with this one, sign somebody on an "emergency" and just wait until Macca comes back.

Think I heard that somewhere. :emoticon-0100-smile

Problem is that he would expect to go straight into the side, which would mean Chester moving to Midfield.
Think we just need cover and to persevere with the Hobbs/Chester partnership.

You expected him to turn down a better offer?

I was rather hoping for a Chester/Kilgallon partnership.

I think this would be a good signing because we need cover at right back as well as CB. Rosenior was regularly injured last season and the only replacement is Chester who is our best CB.
I also hope that Macca comes back in the same form as he played in the Liverpool game. If he does we will have another good option.

He'd be worth signing for the chants alone.

    Monday, Tuesday Habib Beye!

Just put Habib Beye into youtube and see what comes up

Pretty sure i only remember Rosenior missing games towards the end of the season, and i doubt we will be bringing him in at centre half seen as he has not played their since joining Villa. His wages currently will be astronomical to especially seen as he turned down us under Duffen and i bet we was offering him a fortune to!

    I should think he's on about £25k a week.
