I applaud the stance that Warnock has given them a limited time to sign - we need clarity to move forward with them or without them.

There's plenty of business to be done this next 10 weeks.

If he had any, AG’s best days are behind him....time to let him go, he clearly is waiting for another offer....toss him IMO pals!
Hoilett is a different matter, might get even better in the big league! :emoticon-0103-cool:

    Agree, Masky.

I would have let Gunnar go weeks ago.

Whilst I agree with this - I still think that one of Gunners best qualities is that he is a warrior and I would rather have him coming on to see out a game than Halford <yikes>

Maybe that's more disillusionment with Halford than a desire to retain Gunnar?

I do agree about his warrior committment, but I think you need more than just that in the Prem.

Exactly. I don't think that he is good enough for the Prem and if the intention is to have Gunner starting then we will be going down for sure. But he could be a good squad player. I would imagine that is why he hasn't accepted the contract yet - it doesn't guarantee that he will be starting. <ok>

Not sure I could face another season of those long throws into the box. Let’s be honest he’s no Rory Delap<whistle>

The debate continues with Madine....I like him, but would Warnock buy him again? :emoticon-0103-cool:

Stats can often be misleading, but given colins approach we need goals from all over. If he was a wide player who teed up others, you mightnt say as much except currently, we don't have the "others".

Yes, but do we need something more than just that? Not knocking him personally, but for all his graft, West Brom still went down.

McClean has the top flight experience, but is he better than what we already have? He appears to have a history of criticising managers when dropped to the bench. His political views may see some unwanted abuse from opposing fans, which has led to him being sanctioned by the FA and managers.
Not for me, there is better out there methinks.

    Didier ndong anyone?

Surprised if we're looking at Sunderland offcasts unless Colin has spotted a diamond in the rough.

Also talk about Snodgrass who was on loan at Villa from West Ham being on Warnock's radar.

He won't be going back there next season now they've failed to go up and apparently doesn't figure in West Ham's plans either .

Warnock knows him well from his time at Leeds and really rates him.
