This is totally random and out of the blue article but what the hell!!

Does anyone think he is using us as a stepping stone?

He turned down Real Madrid in the summer and said that he was not ready to play for a team like Madrid but will be in the future

I am expecting him to go in a few years time and we will recieve a lot of money no doubt

Is anyone else like me and just expecting every good player to leave and be awesome somewhere else. Always seems to happen to us

I can see Tiote, Enrique, Vuckic etc to leave within a few years and play Champions League football at a top team

Its a pity we cannot keep them all and build a top, top team ourselves but until we get an ambitious owner, there is no chance is there :(
 
Always look on the bright side of life? We will see good things of the 3 mentioned. Enrique i reckon is settled if he goes it will be the board that gets rid
 
Yeah Enrique is settled but if/when Pardew leaves unexpectedly when we are on a good run of form sometime do you not think Enrique might just think what the hell? I'm sick and I'm off
 
I can see where you're coming from. Ben Arfa let's be honest, should be at a top European club and I suppose the only way we can guarentee holding onto these players is by becoming successful. If we can avoid relegation thsi season and Pardew nails a few quality signings in the Summer, I fully expect us to challenge for a Europa league position in 2011-2012. Optimistic I know but the backbone of our side is fairly strong and the additon of 3/4 good squad players may be the answer. Lets take one step at a time, hopefully everything I have just said works out ;)
 
I totally agree. Our team is strong when they are all fit!

But, in the summer I can see teams moving for Enrique, Tiote and the club selling. I would love us to keep this team, get rid of Smith, Perch and gash like that and replace them with quality

I back the team and yes, it is a strong team

I still don't quite understand why Ben Arfa wanted to come so much haha

He would get a game for Real Madrid in my opinion, he was there first choice before they signed Di Maria. He is a world class player in my opinion
 
Obviously it's a tough one to call as anything can happen but I think a marquee signing in the summer will be our best chance of holding onto the key players. As for Ben Arfa, I guess were just very lucky he decided to pick us ;)
 
Yes, I love him and we all do despite him only playing a few games

An amazing player and will forever be in my heart as he will be immense when fit until he leaves for a team like Real Madrid

Would love somebody to take over and give us some guarantee of ambition. Im not really bothered about billions of pound like Man City have god (wouldn't mind it either haha) but someone who can sign a player like Jermain Defoe for example who would do the job for us but atm we are expected to deal with Leon Best being in our line up and players like that. If someone took us over who could buy someone like Sergio Aguero I would jizz in my pants lmao cos it would be so exciting and Ben Arfa would not ever need to move on haha

We can dream eh ;)

While bored at work today me and my friend spoke of if something like this did happen, who would we realisitically get and I thought a partnership of Droga and Aguero would maybe realistic and tasty ;)

Aguero is only at Atleico Madrid, he seems very loyal and for me he is one of the best forwards on the planet, a truely amazing player and Tottenham tried to sign him. Also Drogba who I think will be offen come the summer and is Tiote's best buddy :) would be a class partner for wor Kun ;)

I know this is a dream but just imagine:

Steve Harper (Wouldn't need a goaly as Krul and Forster will be the boys for the future)

Micah Richards (Good to buy English, resurect his career)
Wes Brown (Random I know, but I think it would be important to get a good, English centre back to partner Colo and he is really good imo)
Fabricio Coloccini (Legend, has to be there!)
Jose Enrique (Is there a better left back on the planet ;)!)

Jesus Navas (Playing for Sevilla, excellent complete winger)
Cheik Tiote (He's the boy)
Joey Barton (Would not need centre mid as we have great midfield)
Hatem Ben Arfa (World Class player)

Didier Drogba (Would **** if we signed him)
Sergio "Kun" Aguero (Great Player)
 
Richards = 10 mill +
Wes Brown = 6-7 mill

Jesus Navas = 16 mill +

Aguero = 37 mill +
Drogba = 20 mill +

That would come to about 90 mill if they were going for around them prices. Drogba is getting older like.

So it's only a dream.

Wes Brown would only be about £2m I think, Richards would be about £20m as Man City do not need to sell, Navas I would say £20m, Drogba also about £20m, Aguero 40 off million

I've edited Newcastle's team so much on there haha!

I won the treble once. The same season as Chelsea got relegated as I had nearly all there team lmao
 
What I dont get is why we signed ben arfa now when we had the option to buy him at a set price in the summer
 
We would have signed him for £5m in the summer if he played 25 games I think it was

Obviously he will not play that many so we have signed him up now before Barcelona have a look in at him ;)
