Showing my age but hey, really love the mid to late sixties with the 'British Invasion' music. Starting off with Badfinger, the only other band to record on the Beatles, Apple label. Badfinger No Matter What - Day After Day - Small Faces Tin Soldier - Lazy Sunday Afternoon - "Would it be nice, to get on with me neighbours. But they make it very clear, they have no room for ravers....... " The Kinks Tired of Waiting - Waterloo Sunset - The Beatles Taxman - ( this is George Harrison & Eric Clapton live ) - Dear Prudence - The Who Can't Explain - Pictures of Lily -
I've seen them a few times, really good - very well known up here, considering thet are a busking band
When I was in my teens I used to go on lads 18-30 holidays (yes, I cringe about it now too, but they were good fun!) - they used to hold a reunion party at Butlins down at Bognor, and Mud were on one year - they were brilliant!!
I had this single when I was a kid and it got played loads on my 1st record player. They were fun but I kept breaking the needle due to being heavy handed
Radio 6 is live in Belfast this weekend, and they just finished a show in The Limelight club - when I first went to live in Belfast, this club was a big No-no for people to go to as it had a really bad reputation - didn't stop me from going to see these guys there though
