If your first assumption that a person with no balls is a transgender - rather than a woman - you live in a very interesting world.
Sounds like contract talks are progressing well................................... .....................if you replace the word 'ball sack' with 'five year deal'...............
I don’t agree with this. There were a lot of rumours that a number of players didn’t like Koeman and found him aloof, yet he took us to 7th and 6th in the league. A good manager is not necessarily one that is liked by the players. It can be a benefit, but I certainly wouldn’t declare it as, “That’s the only thing that matters.” Respecting the manager is important, but liking is something that is not the be all and end all.
A few people posting that it is about the money. Does anyone actually know this or is it yet another Chinese whisper that is gathering pace?
I can’t remember if this has been posted on here or not. As we know, Simon Peach has always been pretty reliable on Saints news:
Still, all very poor. If its agreed, you sign it & roll it out. All this is doing is increasing fan speculation, negative media speculation, and you can be damn sure there's an agent ready to make a buck from the uncertainty. Poor show james........
I think quite a few people are too ready to assume that failure to sign Hughes will be all down to the club....there are too sides to this deal. None of us have any idea really.
No one knows anything. However, the large reservoir of good will which the club previously built up appears to have finally run dry. I'm sure I'm not the only one who, having once had a great deal of faith in the club, now half expects them to pull a dead rat out of the hat, and call it a rabbit.
Spot on, and you speak for me and, I suspect, many others of us. I don’t know how bad other clubs are at communicating with their fans, but if Saints represent the norm, it’s a wonder anyone bothers supporting a football team at all.
I think this level of poor communication is pretty standard practice. If you know your fans will keep coming back, you need not try too hard
The club have cocked some stuff up, however the reactions (and from some pretty steady people) just show how impatient some fans are. If Hughes is the man and they are ironing out final details, what’s the panic? He may have booked a holiday to Barbados the day he was sacked by Stoke. They may not have fully agreed his terms, including transfer policy and budget. They may have agreed and be working in targets while he’s away and then ready to make a big announcement when he’s back. Could be anything. To really piss off a few fans, they may not be fully convinced by Hughes (I’m not), although I doubt this, as reliable sources such as Peach, Wilson and DTLW have said it is as good as done. Seriously, stop the panic. I just don’t get why so many people are reacting the way they are. The time to react like this is when he’s back and he doesn’t sign, but only then if the reasons seem peevish.
