It’s been raining here, on and off, since 6 a.m. And the last weather forecast that I saw said ‘showers’ were to continue until mid-day of the morrow.
Oor office in Glasgow is cooking. Forecast for Surrey showing a 20-30% chance of rain between now and 6
Good luck with Squire Stick. I've had a modest ew bet on him. A decent mark and has run well at Sandown before, finishing 3rd. The winner of that race hasn't disgraced himself in Group races since. I reckon a nice bottle of Rioja will be popped open in celebration at El Sticks come 6.10 this evening.
I'm not burdening Squire with any of my money today, I'm in agreement with Stick in that the horse is looking regressive. I'm not having a bet on anything in the race but two against the field if I was would be Mullarkey & Zambeasy. Best of luck Stick and hope he proves us wrong
Was very handy and looking comfortable. Horse isn't one for great turn of foot but jockey didn't even really seem to press go on him to give him the chance.
Haven't seen any of the racing as I'm tied up but, just looking at the SP of 33/1 and beaten over 16l he's either regressed (but then why run him?) or the jockey was getting a feel for another touch at Newmarket. It's a guessing game
Just managed to get to the TV in time to watch Without Parole. Bloody hell, that was hard work. And I didn't get to see Francesca in her slinky dress PS. Just settled down to watch what is left and have now seen Franscesca. She's looking, what can I say?
If you didnt see the racing Gosden said Without Parole needed the run as has done nothing at home since bruising the foot before the 2000G and Dettori said the sticky ground didnt suit him. Take from that what you will.
That didn't work out so another long shot in the last at Tipperary in Capture The Action 50/1 small ew
Makes sense to me. He was clearly the best horse in the race but just couldn't seem to get his action going; almost like he was pulling a truck
