Apologies you are correct. I did think that didn't seem right when I typed it but I didn't click for some reason. Can't be arsed to change it.

Agree that Lawrie and Bates have to be there.

I'll go with who has contributed the most (on the football side)....

Ted Bates and Lawrie Mac without question, Terry Paine (most appearances and captain and saw us rise through the leagues initially) and Matt Le Tissier (without doubt our greatest ever player).

Tough on Micky Channon and SRL for sure.

And on Ron Davies, at his time the best striker in Europe.

Ali Dia, Graeme Souness, a telephone, and someone pretending to be George Weah.

    Good question
    For me
    Mark Hughes
    Manola Gabbiadini
    Alex McCarthy
    Dusan Tadic

This season has frazzled my brain and can't think beyond a month.

And so it was written - Southampton completed premier league survival on the final day of the 2017/18 season, learnt hard lessons from past mistakes and went on to become one of the most successful clubs in premier league history.

Actually, while we’re talking about our slide into administration, Leon Crouch the former chairman deserves a mention and a possible place on Mount Rushmore. During the administration period he put money into the club out of his own pocket to pay wages etc., and has been credited with keeping the club alive until Markus came along.

Toby Steele, Martin Semmens, Ralph Krueger and Les Reed...with the lack of urgency that they come to decisions you would think that they were made of stone....

Bates because of the years served and getting us to Division 1.
Lawrie for our highest league finish, the entertainment and the cup.
    MLT for being MLT.
Marcus for rescuing us and leaving us in such a good position.
