That's actually quite reasonable. Hopefully its not like the Indonesian boat charters where they say they have a petrol engine and then 20minutes out tell you they didn't fill up and so will have to sail/glide the rest of the way. Remember when we did the Grand Canyon helicopter tour we paid over US$1000 for 3 people, and that wasn't even the one that goes from the top of your hotel!
Worked it out at £443 so yeah not bad for 3 of us and the plane to ourselves. Should be an epic trip. It’s beautiful up here in British Columbia and a real wilderness and wildlife hotspot.
Just been out on a rib dolphin watching. Took nearly 2 hours of back breaking wave bouncing to find the ****ers, but worth the effort to see them in the wild. A pod of about 20.
I would have gone with the time in Jaws 4 when it ate an actual plane that looks more or less the same as Piskies one Saying that, I couldnt blame you if you had mentally blocked Jaws 4 from your mind. I wish I could.
We saw whales while on holiday in Tenerife a few years ago . Not very close , but still really good to see them in their environment .
I hired a speed boat when I went to Puerto Rico with the wife a few years back and the dude let me drive it for a bit. The wife was ****ing terrified, " I didnt realise they went that fast", I was like " You daft bint, why'd ya think its called a ****ing SPEED boat?" Anyway, saw some Dolphins and sea turtles and stuff, was pretty awesome.
I hired one minus a Captain once, the strict instructions were “don’t hold it on full power for more than 10 minutes at a time”. So obviously I ignored that advice completely..........the ****ers engine blew. The bird I was with at the time and the charter company were dead impressed.......
The one in the pic is a De Havilland so that’s a bit bigger. I’m going on a Cessna which is 5 seats including the pilot. Suppose I’d better take him with me Although I have flown these little cessnas a few times, but don’t tell HIAG because the truth would destroy him. Thing is, it’s foggy as **** here this morning. It’s slowly starting to lift, but my flight is in an hour or so, so I’m not sure what’s happening atm ...
If it’s an old 172 and foggy you’ll be going nowhere bud. Me too btw, but a cosy 152. Hope the fog lifts fella, have a good ‘un
