    PL (like for like with 2016-17 after 38 games) : Pts = -9 , GF = -15, GA = +10

    I would have loved to see him Dave and Jan play as a back 3 for a lot longer. Could have been worth an extra 10 points

    A fit Alderweireld is a very good CB. However, a large part of what made things work for us defensively last season was the great understanding between him and Jan Vertonghen.

    Whether he will be as effective elsewhere, we’ll have to see.
