I just hope all the visitors from overseas have a grat time and spend lots of money Not even sure I can be bothered with the FA cup final. I'd like to see Chelsea get it just to even things up but not sure they deserve it on recent form. I expect ManU to win 2-0 which doesn't bode well in the excitment stakes. But as my predictions are invariably naff I guess it will be a cracker Anyway time to sow my coriander. All the best to you all.

My first Cup Final for maybe 10 years as I am normally on holiday at this time of year. Must say I thought it was a good game. But this has surely become show-biz. Would the two managers shake hands? They actually gave each a big hug at the end. Talk about creating situations that don't really exist. In France the cup final was between PSG and a team from the third division, who have since been relegated to the fourth division. At least we had a decent game between two clubs who have have managed to assemble good squads, but all of the talk is about will that be enough to keep Chelsea manager in a job.

Another sunny day here, but not too hot so perfect for the start of the outdoor softball season. I still can't play, but given how well my physio went on Friday, after my next appointment I should be available to play in the next round of matches in 2 weeks. I'm still going to watch and support my team, especially jerzeypie.
Morning all. A lovely morning when I could be out gardening, but instead will be off to join with friends for lunch. Our choice of restaurant has a large area outside with parasols to protect you from the sun. There is a little stream flowing through the garden that used to feed the lavoir in olden days. Many of the small towns and villages keep these old buildings in good repair as a link with the past, often with a picture of it being used. Apart from the job of doing the washing they were a social event bringing people together where they could share the latest gossip.
Morning all from a sunny Jersey. A poor start to the softball season - the batting wasn't too bad, but the fielding was an absolute mess. Unfortunately, the biggest culprit (by his own admission) was jerzeypie. It was a relief when he was substituted half-way through the game.
Morning all. Another lovely warm sunny morning, but will it last? One weather forecast says yes it will, while another one tells me to prepare for storms and hail this afternoon. I know which of the two I prefer.
