Papers are desperate for us to buy a GK this summer. Frankly its all dogshit and why would we buy a player worse than than the two we already have. If we are to buy a GK this summer it'd have to be someone who would go straight into the 1XI, Someone better than Karius, which McCarthy is nowhere near. Although I think we do need another GK this summer, as I can't see Mignolet staying.
I think you are right just trying to buy an entire saints first 11 to collect the loyalty bonus is not excuse enough to do this Mccarthy Clyne Lovren VVD (LB?) Lallana (CM) OX (indirect) Mane Lambert (forward) We would be getting close there i suppose to getting a free coffee.
I agree. Karius has improved, and I don't see the point in just bringing in someone at a similar or lower level - except as back-up. He's still one of the weak links imo, and if we want to improve our chances in the league we need to improve that position.
mccarthy bertrand wanyama and that lemina fellow. thats fill out some form off 11. would only cost 100mil.
We joke about it, but it is faintly ridiculous the number of their players we've bought. I used to think my username was a little ambiguous, now I think it's quite appropriate.
yup. my view is/was 1. Lovren. grossly overpaid on I think rodgers desire to have him. saints laughed at us but stilll booed him and they bought VVD out of the fee and had 10 mil spre 2. Lallana. grossly overpaid, who wanted him? dunno. Presume rodgers. Saints also booed him. they bought mane out of the money 3. Lambert. 4 mil for an ancient crock. god only knows why or who. Ridiculous signing and they again laughed at us 4. Clyne. I dunno why we thought he was the best we could get. 12mil was cheap but in last year of contract. they didn't even bother booing him. 5. Mane. They felt we cheated them somehow when we actually paid a large amount before the TV money became apparent. 6. VVD. we tapped him up, he went on strike, they sulked, we paid 70mil up front and 5 add ons which i hope come to pass this weekend. they nearly get themselves relegated as a result. 7. Ox. He was sold by them for 11mil as a kid in league 1? we got him off arsenal but i suppose he needs to be mentioned Really IMO saints have had the best end of the deal all along off of us. The first 4 were never really all that but saints bought an entire team out of that money plus schneiderlin etc and got themselves to a final. Its not our fault they have get rid of chief executives and scouts and such and gone downhill on purchasing etc. They had a good team but replaced it was terrible players. Especially striker and CB positions. I should do ourselves a favour and shop at a better class of establishment for a while. they don't look like they have bought a good un in a couple of years.
Liverpool transfer news LIVE updates: Barcelona reveal monster Ousmane Dembele price-tag LIVERPOOL transfer news is coming in thick and fast and Express Sport is on hand to bring you all the very latest from Anfield. By JAMIE ANDERSO Liverpool transfer news LIVE updates: All the latest from Anfield Monday May 21 Ousmane Dembele price-tag Barcelona have set a price for Ousmane Dembele amid interest from Liverpool, reports in Spain have claimed. Dembele could swap Barcelona for Liverpool having failed to settle at the Nou Camp following his £134million move from Borussia Dortmund last summer. And Spanish outlet Don Balon say Barca have set a price tag for the 21-year-old. The La Liga giants reportedly want a huge £88m to even consider letting the wing wizard go. And Don Balon name the three players they hope to sign with Dembele’s sale. Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich is reportedly on their radar with Nelson Semedo failing to settle. Chelsea ace Marcos Alonso is also wanted to provide competition for Jordi Alba, and Barcelona would also reportedly pay Real Betis ace Fabian Ruiz’s release clause.
Why should we sell our best player? Not every player can settle well into the premiership in their first year.
I don't think we should sell him. But if we're paying that much money for two Marquee names in attack, I would be highly surprised if that didn't mean a Marquee name leaving.
