Being linked strongly with BOTH Telisca and Fekir now. Both can play as attacking midfielders or strikers. With OX out for a long time, this would make sense.

he is a great wee fella who tries real hard but he has been in consistent... but he has been the lad in the last month who's upped his game.

imo he should be the one who needs to up his game if and when we do bring in another forward

Nabil Fekir's move to Liverpool is reportedly close to completion as Jurgen Klopp eyes his first signing of the transfer window.

The Lyon midfielder is '99 per cent' certain to move to Anfield, according to reports in France.

He was first linked with the Champions League finalists last month and is expected to cost £60million.

Fekir started what is likely to be his final game for Lyon as they took on Nice on Saturday night.

The club's captain has scored 22 goals in 38 games for his club, inspiring a push for a Champions League place with a standout season.

And asked on Thursday if the Nice match will be his last match, Fekir told France Football : "I do not think about this at all.

"As I said before, my only priority is to win this match against Nice. I am only thinking about this. After the match, we'll see."

Makes sense, as surely no one wants to bid anywhere close to what they would want in trying to recoup money for him.
They still need to sell though, they are tight on ffp and want to bring Griezman in. However, I struggle to see how they have issues and Man City don't

one has books that show massive wage to turnover issue and transfers that must be balanced and the other shows a series of dodgy sponsorships and deals that are so see through its a joke.

He's ****ing dynamite mate. Coutinho style but runs with the ball more.

He's stood out in a **** league. So the change may be hard but he looks like he has the tenacity for the PL.

    ??

The championship and the French league couldn't be more different if they tried.

Both ****, what more is there.

Point was, they can look great in those leagues but aren't always capable of making the step up.

For every great player to come out of the French league there are about a half a dozen **** ones!

The championship is a far better league than the French league... the type of players couldn't be more different. Big bruts in the championship against flimsy little ****s in the French league...

French League is a lot more like the Premier League than the Championship is.

Just like the Premier League, the French League has very few English people in it. :bandit:

Don’t forget Mane was moved to the left to accommodate Salah. He’s used to playing on the right hand side and he could have got 2/3 more goals and assists with slightly better decision making.

The 2 chances v Brighton, one v Everton quickly spring to mind.

Mane’s final touch was below expectations I’d say all season, but his pace and movement still helps to create plenty of chances and draw defenders out of position.

As a right footed player he should be getting more chances on the left.

We don't need a guy crossing from right <ok>

I just think he plays on instinct and he just doesn't really know what hes doing next or where he hits shots at times.

That's why I don't get upset when he misses.

As I said I like the guy but objectively if we are to improve he will be the one under pressure...... first.... could be He might be the one playing in the end cos I don't think he would give up.
