Arsenal may be in for him, but then they are being linked with every centre back with a pulse at the moment. I think he'd be a quality addition and if Ridgewell can be persuaded to sign as well we'll be looking a lot more solid at the back.

Scott Dann has been offered to QPR after Liverpool and Arsenal declined to follow up their interest.
Liverpool are set to seal an £8million move for Uruguay international Sebastian Coates, while Dann is only viewed as a contingency plan by Wenger should moves for Phil Jagielka, Gary Cahill, Chris Samba and Per Mertesacker fail to materialise.
QPR now have the financial backing of Tony Fernandes while Birmingham are desperate to offload high earner Dann before the transfer window closes.

Not going to get my hopes up but would say if this came off would be bigger than Barton.
Also when are the Messi, Ronaldo signings due to be announced?
Dann and Ridgewell sorry if I am wrong but did they not partner each other in a relegated team, don't get me wrong I want both but just a little concern
didn't phil jones play for blackburn last year? don't think their defensive record was that hot.........
