    Cheers m8!
Yeh but then again I never feel comfortable watching Newcastle before sort of 3 or 4 nil. Whenever the opposition have the ball I turn into a nervous wreck tbh.
I was ****ting myself that Duff would score. That would have been soooooo bad after the booing he got.

But he didn't and we won so <party>

I disagree with the statements saying the atmosphere was bad? in my opinion it was better than most games last year, mainly because it wasnt only one part that was singing it was at different parts of the ground, ideally the whole stadium would get involved but there are some supporters that dont like singing for some reason... there were parts of the game where it was quiet though, and before people get carried away we cant really blame ashley for this...

There is now no specific area in the ground that has lots of people all singing loudly..Like the Leazes last year. This year their is the SE corner which has a mixture of singers and non singers and the Leazes corner in which there still remains some of the singers from last year but it has to be said nowhere near as loud.

This is because of Ashley's decision to more or less ban the singing section.

I think to an extent we can, or whichever knob under him decided to disband level 7 and expand the away end.
Not to mention all the no standing stuff.

The club could easily appease us by creating a new singing section.

yea he should have put a new singing section in, i cant see why he couldn't still have one where it was, not many away fans will have over 4000 so there's still loads of seats for our fans there, and with the no standing its more of a thing that's trying to be clamped down on by police this year Ashley doesn't really have control with that as your not supposed to stand... but i think its mainly some of the supporters fault, there's not enough that want to make some noise, yes its up to them really but ive noticed where i am sat, its relatively quiet untill a few of us get singing

Mike Ashley has completely killed the atmosphere.

Barely heard the South East Corner sing...

One of the problems about the non singers is that they aren't really football supporters as such, but people that go to the games because they think it's the thing to do.

Something that stems from the Keegan era.

Why give up more space for the away fans? Fulham barely filled one block of seats. Also, the attendance was REALLY poor, 42,000. Presumably our lack of spending has disillusined lots of fans. I wish Ashley would realise that one decent £10 million striker would raise everyone's spirits at the club and probably raise attendances by 2000/3000, thus increasing revenue.

Unfortunately, if you look at Newcastle as a business, there's not exactly any 'competition' for 'customers'. NUFC is the club we support and we cant change that.
