Ges's largest bet @ 5/2 flies in to give him a nice little earner too. Jammy hits back with some incredible tipping belting in three good winners with only one of his seven selections failing to make a place to show a fantastic profit ! A day to forget for Ringo but I'm sure he'll be back in the groove next Saturday Unfortunately I suffered the seconditus disease on the day. Jammy's turn to pick the main meeting next Saturday. (I'm sure there is a big race coming up too)
Afternoon all. My thinking is to choose Lingfield Park as the main meeting for next Saturday. If I'm understanding the rules correctly then selections will be allowed up until the 1st Race at 5-40pm. This would mean we can monitor betting markets as they occur during the day and make selections in real time for the afternoon meetings. If I'm interpreting the rules incorrectly and all selections need to be stated and submitted together then please let me know and maybe I'll have a rethink. It might make it more fun but of course any selections would need to be posted on here before the off time of the race.
Sorry Jammy that would make the competition much more complicated especially for me. That Lingfield meeting is also part-turf/part-AW so could confuse some ! Rules are : 1) Turf racing only in the UK/Ireland only 2) All selections to be posted before racing commences 3) Main meeting must be from one of the afternoon cards (a minimum of at least three races to be chosen from the main meeting) 4) No selections from evening cards as there are plenty of flat meetings on a Saturday afternoon
Ok thanks for the clarification. Only rules I had to go on were the ones you posted on 29th April and no mention of evening or all weather exclusions at that point. So this weekends main meeting for us will be...Doncaster. Good luck to everyone and I would imagine most of us will be putting up a few selection from Epsom as well which should make it interesting.
