No mate. Theres too many cases where there’s an element of doubt, plus I think it’s quite barbaric, as it’s pure retribution as opposed to punishment.
Agree with this. I also don't agree with the death sentence for certain murders. It's all or nothing for me. I do believe that a life sentence should mean a full life sentence with no parole.
Also when people make the asinine comparison between US Gun crime and London Knife crime, its worth pointing out that Knives have an actual, legitimate, practical purpose.....there is a million things you need a knife for, yes they can be used to stab people, but they are used in crafting and manufacturing and as a practical tool. A gun has NO purpose other than to kill things, thats it, its sole reason for existence is to end lives. Jim Jeffries said it best when he said, the US argument for having guns basically boils down to "**** off.....I like guns!" Mental health is another factor....the US has more nutters on drugs than most other places. They really need to sort that **** out. Countries where guns are outlawed have next to no gun crime.....odd isn't it, its almost like the two could be related somehow.
You asked about being a fan of the death penalty and NSIS gave his objection to it. Nowhere did he say you did say that.
I actually asked Tobes whether he was a fan of the death penalty, not him. He implied that I thought it was a good idea, which I don't.
No, we don't. It hit the headlines when it happened for a period of two months, February and March. Even just including January in the figures puts New York ahead again. The 2017 stats put their homicide rate at 3.4 per 100k and London at 1.2.
