Yeah I'm thinking ahead No in seriousness he's obviously not a legend in the game (yet), but I've always loved the bloke. Always found it harsh that he gets slated for the pen but Ince (?) doesn't for taking his boots off and refusing to take one. I'd love it if he was the guy to bring us some (relative) success.
Does he get slated for missing that pen? I’ve not noticed that really. He had the guts to take it. He is a genuinely lovely chap. I played with him once (in a footballing way ).
Maybe it was more my generation but I remember a lot of hate aimed towards him for quite a few years regarding it. Cool that you played with him

I see England being a bit like Saints in the PL. So long as every player on the pitch knows what's expected of him, and so long as the coaches have a plan for every game, there's no reason why we can't be competitive over 90 minutes against any side in the competition. But they'll all be thinking the same thing, and that includes Tunisia and Panama - so anything could happen, really.
I'm a huge fan of Colin Murray and his various Radio/TV shows. He was talking about Southgate last Saturday after a guest was echoing this opinion. He then added "But did you know that he is also THE funniest man alive? THE biggest presence of anyone I have ever met. He FILLS a room. There is NOBODY else I would rather go and have a few beers with". He hides all that on camera quite well eh?
we don't have many players missing for the world cup, Tadic, Cedric, Yosh, PEH and maybe Bednarek?. Would be a good summer for bonding the players if we had a ****ing manager!
