It was worth the risk as it would have been brilliant giving him a photo of Sol winning the league at WHL
I won my bet with a Spurs fan. I said we would stay up, he said we wouldn't. I'm now a tenner richer. Bet was placed after the Bournemouth game. See, blind faith does get you somewhere.
Spurs finishing top 4. I did win a bet with a Chelsea fan though who thought we'd finish top 12 in February
I only once placed a bet like that. It was with a Forest fan. He bet they would finish higher than us. I took that bet at £100. He then bet half way through the season Forest wouldn't go down and Saints would for another £100. £200 richer I was that May. Decent amount of money back then. Anyways just renewed my Season tickets. £450 total for me and the 2 boys. total rip off. You only get 23 games for that Works out at £6.52 each per game. daylight robbery even with the free bus service for season tickets saving me £8.40 a game.
Same as every year I am contemplating whether to get a season ticket, I think I will wait until the manager is announced to fully decide as I don't think there is some deadline for new customers and the "earlybird" offer is just for people renewing?
I’m curious how much do you actually save from getting a season ticket over buy individual match day tickets.
That would depend how many matches you miss after buying a ST. I usually miss 2 or 3, and have worked out in the past that I still saved money. You also save hassle, and are guaranteed a seat at Wembley, where we are now regulars
Doesn't really matter as unfortunately I decided that last season would be my last. Now what am I going to do with the extra 10 hours during weekends - hope she doesn't make me shop or even worse garden
Local non league football! Highly recommend it. You can even drop her off at shops on way then pick her up after as less traffic. Come on you Bulls.
Watch Weymouth when I’ve got a free Saturday. Used to follow Basingstoke when I lived there. Good entertainment for a tenner and the hot dogs are better than St Mary’s. Best food ever was at Walton & Hersham Who are the Bulls Roy?
