I have a feeling that it will be happening soon as Sky are getting excited and Twitter is livening up.

A serious question.

When we sign managers ( and players).....it is always at our ( mediocre) training ground.

Finalising and signing contracts is a legal thing...why isn't it done in chairman's or CEO office?

Why is it not done at Loftus Riad

I knew we'd had a press conference at Millbank at least once, so I looked it up............

When Park signed from Manchester United in July 2012, he was presented to the media high up in London’s Millbank Tower on the banks of the Thames, at what was more a champagne reception than a press conference.

The contracts will have been signed elsewhere. I guess if we have the press do at the training ground it signals 'down to business' - even if all the players are on holiday.

Good question. Perhaps one for the Simon Mayo show on Radio 2
