Yeah, arguably our best u23 player this season. German teams are acting very smart of late. Snapping up Sancho who’s been incredible, while Oxford and Lookman have had loans, with the latter seriously impressing to the point where Leipzig wanna make the move permanent and now Bennetts has also taken the leap. I can somewhat understand the move from his perspective - as annoying as it is for us - as he has German roots and probably feels there’s a quicker root to their first team than ours at the moment.
Dortmund will play him and he'll still be at a top level club. We need to take this sort of thing into account when making transfers. Do players like Sissoko and Aurier offer enough to risk blocking the progress of Onomah and Walker-Peters? It's a tricky balance.
