Just read an article in my Heart Club Magazine (copied from the Telegraph) which showed an association with heart attacks and supporting a sports team. Comes as no surprise, though apparently a win is worse than a loss....so Saints fans aren't too badly affected. Amongst the examples listed though was a 50% increase in heart attacks in Dutch men following their loss in a penalty shoot out in the 1996 European Cup.
Hawaii is in big trouble. After weeks of volcanic fissures opening up and spilling lava all over the place, now the volcano is blasting out rocks the size of kitchen appliances while sending ash miles into the air. Hope everyone's had the sense to evacuate.
The MOST bizarre thing just happened to me and my other half. Honestly, the MOST bizarre. 5:30pm, we go to walk the dogs round the block - it is exactly a mile in a circle, that takes in Bournemouth Uni. Halfway round and opposite the uni and with plenty of houses overlooking I see a guy on top of someone - I thought he was giving CPR. OMG, they were having slow motion sex naked. FULL BLOWN SEX! We called the police (My other half videoed it for evidence), loads of people were stopping and then the girl gets up, puts on her jeans calmly then tries to attack my dog. My other half gets him away then she starts shouting abuse at me etc. Finally the police come and arrest them. Unbelievable. Totally mad. I am still in total shock.
The shock to me is that it was in broad daylight, next to the Uni in a residential area - it is a nice area too, there were dog walkers, children playing outside etc. As I said to the Police, if I was walking on the beach and it was 2 or 3 am, it wouldn't make it right, but you can sort of accept it. 5:30pm in daylight in a busy residential area where children were watching is just unbelievable. Cars were stopping, young mothers trying to drag their kids away. I reiterate it is a nice area - average house prices are over 500k so just don't expect it.
Yes, she definitely will thank you, it's the best thing you could have done for her. Well done for finding a sympathetic vet, too. Maybe you should start a Just Giving page to get some help with financing a neutering program...
I am in severe trauma. Going on holibobs in a couple of weeks and casually looked at boarding passes....wrong name on one set Contacted holiday company and I had the wrong name on everything...ATOL certificate, API etc. How had I missed it when checking the paperwork....I think I was looking at flight times etc and my eyes must have just skimmed over the name...you see what you expect to see. Got it sorted....though EasyJet wanted £98. Worth it....just glad it wasn't at the airport.
Not sure if you realise this but those of us that don't live in houses over £500k still have standards and i'm pretty sure that 99% of us sewer dwellers don't go around having sex in the local park.
Lol that wasn't my point, and I am not trying to imply it, but I was trying to re-iterate how random it was on a grass verge in broad daylight - not behind a bush, in a park etc. I can see how it came across now and certainly didn't mean it that way.
No worries it was just the way you pointed out twice that it was a nice area, which made me think you would expect to see it in a not so nice area.
A couple were caught having sex in the library in Newport recently...there are pigs everywhere (no offence was meant to real pigs who are probably perfectly charming).
Talking of cats, I'm only £58 away from my target for the zipline challenge for my local Cats Protection branch. Since booking it last year they've made the line start from a higher point and end at a lower point and there's a chance that I'll hit 125mph All for the cats... https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/helen-rees13
