Yeah, I enjoyed that one too. 74 as well, which featured possibly the best final ever. I also enjoyed 94 in the USA - Ireland beating Italy, and my Irish nan laughing at the Scouse and Cockney accents when the Irish players were interviewed in the dressing room afterwards. Basically, I have enjoyed all the WCs that didn't feature England
Highlights to me for the '78 World Cup were: Scotland v Peru 4-1 Holland v Scotland 2-3...Archie Gemmil Italy winning the group by beating Argentina in Buenos Aires. Holland beating Italy to get to the final (no Semi-finals in this cup). The Final - The toilet rolls and ticker tape.
