    Think that came from the owner (or a representative) during the announcement about the China tour but it was during our darkest hour this season when the possibility of relegation was at its highest. I wouldn't be surprised though if our average age goes up....we all felt the need for someone to grab hold of the team and pull them over the line.

    They are in talks with his representatives, but I didn't think it was going to drag on for days.
    Every time some other manager leaves a club I get a little twinge of nervousness.
    Come on Saints, just do it. Don't piss around into the summer.

    For heaven's sake, Ralph and Les. If he wants a bowl of Smarties every morning with the yellow ones removed and a daily bunch of roses...just give it to him. We have a transfer window and season to prepare for.

    I suspect the only issue between MH and LR/RK would be control of transfers
    Hope LR/RK hold firm as I wouldn't want Sparky having control of transfers due to past exercise but happy with him sitting on the committee and having his say

    He needs to be able to put forward names.
    As I understand it, he wanted a few players that chose us over Stoke, so his thoughts on players might not be too far adrift from the “black box”.
