    Good luck with your Ramadhan!
Having studied all types of religious scriptures I personally can't see how depriving oneself of the bodies needed nutrients throughout the day makes you more spiritual. The only proviso I would make to your idiots guide to Ramadhan is 'Can I eat in front of you'. Yes I would. To expect a non Muslim to adhere to their customs is a non-starter and therefore shouldn't be around other non-muslims at eating times or places.

Ps. I've got two large pork chops for tea.

I've started by having breakfas at my desk in front of him instead of in the break room. Remember this is technically all your fault.

Eating in front of my wife and daughter during Ramadan isn't a problem for me. She usually has my food ready while she's still fasting and would think it odd for me to wait until she's ready to break her fast.

Its one of the many adjustments we make for each other, one religious and the other avowedly not!

Same here. Son is Christian and Daughter is non-fasting. When we are over in UK during Ramadan Mrs will serve them food at normal times - although she probably spits in it first.

Here it's really not an issue - almost everyone is fasting in the office and the non-Muslims wouldn't wave their food around. I heard the Cappuccino machine going this morning, which brought a tear to my eye but got through it.

Hardest thing for most of the men here is not smoking. Often their fast-breaking consists of a hurried glass of water and some dates very quickly followed by a ciggy.

As is Easter. More that unites us than divides us.

In theory during Lent. It's evolved into not having 1 favourite food, but originally it was a 40 day fast (excluded Sundays)

    <doh> Children/Christians.

They are not compelled to until they reach puberty I think. However a lot of the young ones here like to and might start with a half day fast.

The bit about non Muslims not eating in front of me or anyone else was a joke. The copy and paste was taken from The Independent as referenced. It was a light hearted take on 'commonly asked questions'...I saw the humour in it.

Don't worry about my bodies nutrients, I've been doing this all my life...and of course yeah Skiddy youve studied everything just like you had a fake mate on YouTube <laugh> sad ****er

Seriuosly you stink of butthurt and anyone in here that disagrees about that point can go and get ****ed too.

The only large 2 pork chop youre having for tea will be your husbands bollocks in your gob, oh and thanks for the good wishes.

and the bit about 'refrain from discussing food' on this thread was a reference to last year when the lads would post what they were having for a munch...something I and others found funny

Thought I'd put that out there incase there are a few more Skiddy's lurking with an axe to grind.

If ginger posts pictures of his food, you'll find it easier to abstain.
