Certainly I'm not bothered. Boregate will get a free pass this WC, claiming he picked a squad to play in the Euro's. He'll then promptly be sacked when we fail to get out of the Euro's group stage. Anyone think England have missed a trick with Wenger?
Southgate will get sacked in a few months, and England will approach Wenger, or at least there will be constant speculation. Interesting question about whether he'd be a good choice. For all Arsenal played good football under him, they played a lot of ****e too. Our squads would be full of 23 attacking midfielders...

With the squad we have got I think is play... ......pickford... Walker....Cahill....Maguire Trippier...Dier...Henderson...Young / Delph Vardy....Kane...Sterling I'd have Dier filling in for Walker on occasion allowing for him to get forward and double up with Trippier and Vardy going a bit more central. The wide front two can swap for a bit of variation. Henderson can help out on the left defensively if needed when attacking. All about getting numbers close together when going forward. Worried about creativity in the middle the. If we are playing a less good team maybe we can swap out a CM for Dele as don't need to be so defensive. Or possibly lose a CB and effectivly play 4 at the back with the full backs pushed up. Lingard is a good option off the bench and again Dele if we need someone to break down a stubborn defence.
I stopped caring about England years ago. Other nations usually pick players based on form. We pick based on the club. Cahill, Stones, Delph and Jones ffs? They are all abysmal. Arsene Wenger would be perfect for the job. What England need though is a Brian Clough type figure who will tell the FA to **** off and has the guts to pick players from 'unfashionable' clubs.
I think most of our fans will probably be trying to score some novichok after England's opening group game.
