The scores with one final leg left to play

    Oldsparkey 3 - 5 Frankfurter
This tie bursts into life - just a single goal is the difference between their predictions & unfortunately for Sparks, Derby fail to take it to extra time. Frankfurter also picks up a point for Sessengon's equaliser. Only 2 points in it heading down the final straight - Can Sparks muster something from tomorrow games to turn this around?

    Sayer77 0 - 4 Dai Jones
Sayer really staring down the barrels now as Dai increases his lead by predicting Sessongnon to score. At least he knows exactly what he has to do tomorrow - his prediction will have to be spot on and hope that Dai picks up no further points.

Not many goals in those Playoffs then - Full times scores in this season's semi finals

    Sayer77 0 - 4 Dai Jones
No further points as Dai seals a surprise victory over the much fancied Sayer to advance to his first playoff final <ok> It looked a stretch for the head to head great (this is only Sayer's 2nd defeat in this format). Another season in Div II for Sayer and no straight return to the top tier. Can Dai now make the most of this historic first victory?

    Oldsparkey 3 - 5 FrankfurterBlue
Sparks and Frankfurter both predict the same score so this was only going to end one way even if points had been available. So it all hinged on that single goal difference in last night's result. Absolutely gutting for Sparks but this is a very familiar story, having only managed to get past this first hurdle once in 4 playoff campaigns! <wah> A 2nd final for Frankfurter - after threatening to break free of the 2nd tier on several occasions, can he take this golden opportunity?

BPPL 17/18 Div II Playoff Final

    Dai Jones vs FrankfurterBlue

Chelsea vs Manchester United (Saturday 19th May @ 5:15)
Fulham vs Aston Villa (Saturday 26th May @5:00)

Capaldi Cup Final Preview up soon! <ok>

Good luck Furter - I can usually make the playoffs but can never get past them - a bit like Fulham? (there's a tip for you. :emoticon-0105-wink:)

Thanks Sayer, I'll try my best.

Still think I'm the underdog, had hoped Middlesbrough were in the final.

    Fulham v Villa then.

Going to be a tight call with both defences having to be on top form.

I predict Fulham and consign Villa to another season in div 2.

If that's the case, from what I've read, Villa could be in deep **** next season over FFP.

Yes but the EFL is a spineless organisation with zero authority and no balls - so I imagine Villa can do whatever they please. Just like Derby <ok>

Bad luck to Sayer and Sparkey. Congrats to Dai but don't have the concept of underdog here.......it is all blind faith and pin-sticking at my end. Hence CS's followed by nil pwan!!! This is actually my 3rd play-off too......I never seem to get a rest...which is my excuse for such poor predictions.

Well done FFB <cheers> your pin-sticking worries me, not a voodoo doll is it? <yikes>

I don't know how I'll chose this one, I wanted PNE in 6th instead of Derby then hoped Middlesbrough would come up with us. Both gone Fulham or Villa, I really don't care. <doh>
