Southern Syria looks a good place to put up new Israeli colonies. The Syrian government can't fight back. The existing population are used to being supressed and can easily be forced into labour camps. Israel can claim the land grab is for security purposes to hold back Iran. I suppose I shouldn't really joke in case Netanyahu is a Liverpool fan and reading this thread getting ideas. (Although I bet people in Israeli government have already considered it, if only briefly)

For all his hawkish behaviour, I don't think Trump would deliberately start a war in Iran. By accident, absolutlely. Get dragged into one by Israel, or over Syria, distinct possibility. He will probably bluster at some point saying we should. But I don't think he will actually pull the trigger. He acts like he wants to bully the world, but doesn't want to actually risk getting in a fight.
Being honest. Yes, he is a good player. # medals doesn't mean much. Traore is a Champions League medal holder, and Moreno will be a Champions League medal holder in a few weeks time. Kane is a very good player. Wouldn't swap him for Salah, but he is a good player. I'd take him.over Sturridge.
****ing hurry up with this Brexit lark... so we can get on with a realistic UI process. Westminster doesn't give a **** about NI The Assembley has failed as our people's govt and every year that goes by the advantages of being part of the UK disappear. **** it. Never thought I'd say that but there we go.
Huh.. well, you get what you elect I suppose. The two extremes dominate there so its very difficult for normality to ensure when the reality is the civil service rule and the politicians get paid to sit at home. An interesting display of democracy in action
Mweh, the assembly set up has been abused by the 2 main parties to do **** all. If either fully achieved their aims, like UKIP they become ****ing redundant. So Brexit is the UK telling moderate unionists you are no longer wanted or at least important enough as a consideration and a UI will undercut the fanciful delusions of a SF vision of the Republic. Then the lot of them can hug each other or make a suicide pact while the rest of us get on with what is quickly becoming the only viable alternative.
you could join with scotland in some weird celtic/anglosaxon amalgamation and let england go off and be whatever it is the rich toffs think will make them money. you can then join the eu and surround england like how the Swiss are surrounded. a bastion of middle class nonsense surrounded by hordes of wannabe immigrants
yeah cos the EU really want more countries to receive net income from them whilst losing one of its top 3 providers of said dosh.
you are forgetting the money england will have to pay for the privilege of cutting them loose plus the political bonus of surrounding England. and never forget the Scots have loads of oil and fish or something to make them like the UAE of the North
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-44113324 Looks like theres jobs to fill but the UK government is showing its inability to plan by having a set limit that is being exceeded right now PREBREXIT. oops you'd think that at the very minimum the monthly immigration visa numbers would be increased but i suppose its a case no johnny foreigners period here. When brexit happens and the eu folks cannot work legally there is a huge issue coming by the look of it.
well another view is it might make companies invest in new equipment/plant rather than relying on increasing production by employing more low cost workers who are heavily subsidised by the taxpayer. On worker skills it might be finally convince Govt & employers to actually seriously take training/upskilling seriously.
TBH if companies are saying. HEY... we need to be ready for brexit when all of our staff leave and then you restrict them hiring from non EU as well then the company says right we are off... well... why would you invest in new offices as I would say a large majority of these are not manufacturing jobs but IT highly skilled positions and really skilled engineering jobs that are not what automation will remove. Its piss easy for a government to say fill form uk and then you look and there are none. Its FAR easier just move countries than train staff for the UK and have other uk companies then poach them The skills need to be driven by government and driven on a much longer leadtime than brexit. So this will again be the issue with brexit. its a oh **** we are actually doing this.. what do we do??
I've just spoken to a candidate who's an Italian national. he's been over here for a good while. I contacted him about a job in Manchester. He wants to relocate back to mainland Europe. I wonder why?
President Trump's Disclosure of Payments to Lawyer Michael Cohen Raises More Questions Related: Trump Acknowledges Paying Michael Cohen Six-Figures For 'Expenses Incurred' (Wochit News) (NEW YORK) — President Donald Trump revealed in his financial disclosure Wednesday that he reimbursed personal attorney Michael Cohen as much as $250,000 for unspecified “expenses,” with no mention of a $130,000 payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about a sexual tryst she said they had. The head of the nation’s ethics office questioned why Trump didn’t include this in his previous year’s sworn disclosure and passed along his concerns to federal prosecutors. “I am providing both reports to you because you may find the disclosure relevant to any inquiry you may be pursuing,” David Apol, acting director of the Office of Government Ethics, wrote to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world...ore-questions/ar-AAxoo1C?li=BBoPWjQ&ocid=iehp
