    Good Morning Everyone

Villa held Boro to a goalless draw last night bring them a step closer to a return to the promised land.

    How will this effect Boro?

    No more parashute payments!

Can they keep hold of Traore?

Will they struggle next season or will the 451st richest man in Britain (Steve Gibson) with an estimated worth of £165 million bail them out?

Perhaps the Chinese will buy them out?

After our 2-0 win over Myanmar, Leeds would now rank 151st in the world on 165.75 points. Above Kosovo but below Liberia, if of course Leeds were a Country.

Leeds United are keeping a close eye on 23 yo Slovenian playmaker Leo Stulac, according to Italian journo Alfredo Pedulla.

Que Surprise!!! He is a Serie B player (Venezia). He is said to have excellent technical ability, a wonderful vision and a powerful shot from distance.

There seems to be a lot of love for Hadi Sacko. Many on social media want him to stay.

    Thoughts?

I thought you should have been used more. There were plenty of games we just needed someone to run at defenders.

    Good Morning Matt
Under Gibson/Pulis I'm much more confident Boro' will be one of the main challengers next season as oppose to Leeds under Radz & Hecky.
You need to remember they have a Boro' fan as their boss & also a decent pool of players already in place, I'd take two thirds of that Boro' first team now if Gibson was kind enough to offer proper championship footballers to us. We are currently in a right old pickle !

    Morning Ell and all.

Don’t get some of the viciousness towards Sacko from some quarters. Sure, along with many others he isn’t good enough but unlike a few of our players you can’t say he didn’t always try his best. Considering how many poor games Alioski had I am certain Sacko wouldn’t have been worse in many games and at least has pace and strength to worry defenders rather than the very real risk of someone just falling on your foot.

I for one wish him well wherever he goes.

Morning all, I still fail to understand why we signed Sacko after witnessing how poor he was the previous season but as Marcos points out, not his fault he isn’t good enough. As for rumours, listen to half we’d spend virtually nothing and get relegated, listen to the other half we’d spend £20million and look hot prospects, best ignoring them all until one gathers serious pace

Morning all. I can confirm I’ve checked and it is indeed Wednesday.

Unfortunately Leeds isn’t a country (though Yorkshire is, of course ;). )

I find it slightly saddening seeing the playoffs going on and we didn’t even come close. And sadder because right now I see no sign we are shaping up to compete next season. Theres always hope of course.

At the end of the day if he wasn't good enough then that's down to who scouted and bought him.
If he was good enough and underused that's down to the coach...
Neither are the fault of the player...

    That must be bollix.
Rad has told us he has learned the lessons.
So on the basis of if you do what you always did you get what you always got this must be wrong.
Unless Rad was spinning lies again....... oh wait a minute.

Elland Boro have got plenty of parachute money to come mate as they came down in 2017 and my guess is that with Pullis as boss they will be automatic promotion next season, nailed on.

So the play off final is between 2 big spending clubs who have spent £240m on players between them. What a fantastic fair league this is, and only Cardiff really deserve credit this year as they spent little but have a good manager. (They did however have the base of a team from their prem days and parachute money times) Watch how Derby implode now after failing to go up this season because it was the last roll of the dice for them. They will now not be able to afford big signings, will need to sell all their high earners. They gambled and lost right from when they employed Maclaren, and even though they made the play offs for the last few seasons, the game is now up they are skint and in debt.

Glad Sacko has gone because he was never good enough, when asked to do a specific job, just like a few still on the books. I wish Sacko well and hope he can find his career again.

It is indeed a bit depressing how close the correlation is on money and success. Cardiff the exception - pity we never had a manager like that ;)

It’s true other teams like Millwall did remarkably well given they only had 50p to spend, but in the end the big money boys made it and they didn’t, and now watch them implode

The Derby experience does show the risks for Rads but he needs to do more or fans will turn

Morning Leon, if Gibson only has an overall wealth of 150m, he'd need to invest a big chunk of that in Boro. Football clubs aren't cheap to run.

Morning ristac, great point. He wasn't going to become a World beater overnight. He does have something though, and his pace is electrifying....

Gibson will always provide the funds, as said previously, they must be one of the favourites next season.

Just what we don't want another young no hoper, it's becoming a joke now, no idea when he's going to start this 5 year plan, unless this is it, if so we're bolloxed.

Sack O'****e is probably the standard of dross we will attract from now on.

    Morning 2020 <laugh>

We have a big Summer in front of us.

If Jansson has a goob World Cup, and an offer comes in at 12m, would the club be stupid not to accept it?

Lessons learned? if the story about young Stulac is true we deffo havent learned any lessons. Ousaim Bhoy the wonder kid Orta bought last Summer from Juventus was shipped out on loan to the so called sister club in the Spanish 2nd division. He only played 4 times before running away and coming back in December. Hecky has ignored him even when he was down to bare bones in a crumbling middle. He wasnt even taken to Myanmar so what the hell is happening as why are Leeds looking at signing a central midfielder in Stulac, when Bouy remains untried? His caliber suggests that he would be a decent option for Heckingbottom - making senior appearances for Juventus, Palermo, Hamburg and Panathinaikos.

For me Orta knows his stuff with top players who command top money and young kids who will be top players in the future. He is screwed in bargain basement though as his success rate is 1 in 6 at best.

Idaguci will be another big let down too

    Morning Mate.

Regard to what I said earlier, one thing Pulis will need to up his game if the 2 leg game against Villa is to go by, one decent effort over 2 games. Is he another dinosaur that the game is passing by, let's hope so.
