Hmmm, interesting one. After we shipped 7 goals away to PNE and Southampton with him in charge I never expected that he would be pivotal in changing Hull City's history for ever. Never ever in my wildest dreams did I think we would win at Spuds, Arsenal etc and go to China. And all done on a fraction of the budget that Brucey had. Emotionally there is no one to match Brownies achievements. But factually and statistically Bruce was more successful. 2 promotions, 1 F A Cup and the **** up in Europe, but Europe none the less. And statistically, Brownie 33.12% cf Bruce 41.29%. My personal favourites were Nobby Horton and Nigel Pearson, followed by Bruce and Brownie in that order.
