As I have said before, I very nearly didn't re-new my ST this season, not because of Puel, but next season I won't re-new. It will be hard not going as a home match was always a large part of my weekend, and i made many good friends around me, but its now a massive commitment and my parents have moved away so I cant kill two birds with one stone.

However, the real reason is, I have become really really disillusioned with the club. I'm getting no warm fuzzy feeling from Ralph, and the ambition has completely gone. Yes, a sustainable model is a must but it feels more like a sustainable model to line the pockets of the board and owner not to improve the footballing side of the club. I am already expecting much the same for next year

Absolutely. Even at the time he was playing and clearly our best defender, a lot of fans wanted to see something different. I think Leicester was his only bad game and close to his last.

More worrying, is what does a fairly straight talking bloke like Mark Hughes think when he sits down and listens to an hour of that.

He probably texts his agent after twenty minutes asking if he can get in that jungle programme.

I see what Fran is saying, but sorry, this interview just sticks in the craw for me. Had enough of the crap.

“We want to be more transparent”

In which case, step one - stop sending Ralph out to talk.

If he turns it down, then I will be very very afraid. I dont believe it will be turned down on salary, more the transfer kitty offered to him. very telling indeed

It was so unnecessary. We just need to hope they get the management appointment right and then disappear back into a hole and let the manager get on with it.

Keep them out of ear shot.

So what did he say about money. I mean, what did we deduce from his ramblings?

Ralph, quite rightly is getting a pasting on here, but at least he has put his head above the parapet to get shot at. The real villain here is Les, Krueger is a puppet chairman and clearly just a mouthpiece but Reed is cowardly keeping a low profile hoping the unrest will die down.
I posted a video on here of an interview where he was assessing the 2015/16 season after it had just finished, he was full of himself and even saying that the way Saints were run had an influence in Leicester's title win and we had made it easier for them!. He was predicting that we were knocking on the door of CL and all the squad were going to be at the club for a long time.
If he can take credit for all that, then surely he should face the music now and just be honest with us.

The only way that Les' silence can be considered acceptable, is if he is on his way out shortly. The club would then, naturally, not want him publically speaking.

But by all accounts, that seems wishful thinking.

Can’t be worse than the dull agony of pellegrino. I think Hughes deserves a proper shot and am keeping an open mind.

You have to read between the lines here because he's is not commiting to anything literally.

The very first comment in the interview states that Mane came here for two years and is now in the champions league final. Somehow that is a measure of our success not of our failure. We made a good profit and sent him on to play for a good team. Meanwhile we try to muddle on without him, without replacing his contribution. This is a good thing apparently, nothing to do with us being **** for the two seasons after. Not get it Ralph?

We need to use this momentum. There is no momentum, We have been sliding backwards building momentum in the wrong direction, Hughes came in and arrested the slide by the skin of our teeth. We are literally at a standstill and he is confusing the elation and relief of survival with something much more significant. This is a significant worry.

MP2 came in here from nowhere and we made a profit when the good managers left. Again, money money money. It pays the wages of the backroom staff but not where we need to see success - on the pitch. This emphasis on constant change being a measure of success if it makes money again overlooking and ignoring that we have been poor to totally crap for two seasons.

Who was available after Newcastle? We had 12 hours. You have got to be ****ing kidding me. They literally finished the Newcastle game and though oh ****, we are going down and need to change the manager. For this statement alone the whole board needs to think about resigning, Kreuger and Reed need to go. 12 hours, most of us saw the writing on the wall for months before that.

Confidence out of defeats against arsenal and chelsea - completely missing the point. We then reverted to 5 at the back and tried to shore up. We are full of glaring weaknesses, these games were no different than the rest of the season, the only thing that got us over the line was Hughes transformed Tadic and galvanised the core of the squad and other teams stuffed up. I think he still thinks we are potentially good. I get it, I did too at the start but we are not and wholesale change is absolutely required.

He is still blaming VVD for the problems of this season. Between the lines I think he believes that holding on to any player who wants to go is a bad idea now. Missing the point. The fact that so many players want to go is our problem, what are they doing to change this culture and perception is what I want to know.

    People thought that about Puel...

WBA fans said it about Pulis too. Moral of the story is not matter how bad things are, there's someone out there capable of being even more inept.

I'm sure most people in a position of power aren't the "nicest".
