Not just the result, but the performance and the total and utter lack of prospects and the refusal of either the board or manager to address the glaringly obvious holes in the squad.

I feel properly sickened by the charade that arsenal football club have presented to us loyal fans over the last 6 months.

    Disgusted.

We lost 3 points in Manchester...like we have done almost every year.....that's all. 3 points (and some pride of course). But we have still seen some good stuff from Arsenal and hopefully this will really push Wenger in the transfer market.

    Fingers crossed.

There's still plenty more games left in the season, and plenty more opportunities for blacker days.

  6. It's the manner by which we dropped the three points my friend.

We couldn't even muster a team that could work to maintaining the dignity of this club. Those replacements should have been sourced well before now. Instead we have been caught short by their absence and by the suspensions and injuries. If we needed 3-4 players at the close of last season and having sold four, then we should be buying in 6 to 8 players. Will our management be pushed to bring in at least 6 players? I doubt it and that is what I fear.

i think its a great result for true arsenal fans , you know , the ones who think of the club and not wenger.

Even HE cant ignore that result.

Get rid of him NOW please.

He is DEVOID of any new tactical ideas.

The premiership has moved on since he stared his experiment.

You cant play that way anymore .

Wenger has quite an impressive CV over the years, but one acolade on his record that I dont think will ever be beaton is "The worst defeat for Arsenal in 115 years". That one will take some beating.

It was a weak team sheet today, however Wenger has shown some serious lack of judgement, he took off Coquelin who was playing DM and doing ok, and brought on Theo mark 2, (the Ox), and 5 goals flew in to our net! Good or bad move?

    Yes there has.

You lost 8-0 against Loughborough in 1896, surely that was worse

The cultural experiment is over, and the results are conclusive.

Time you got yourselves a new manager. A benevolent colonialist isn't what you need in a crisis.

Its not just "holes in the squad" anymore. Like someone said, we needed 3-4 players and have instead lost 4 first teamers and bought in 1 (gervinho). SO we do need 5-6 first team players now. That is no long holes in the squad. I would say this squad needs a complete revamp. Maybe a really bad year will be the best thing for arsenal football club. It will cause alot of the management to reconsider what needs to happen if the arsenal are going to compete.

    An absolute rubbish performance.
Just think, six months ago we were hearing about a quadruple.
Now look at us. We've gone so far backwards that we'll be lucky to be playing European football next season.
I think we can forget about the fair play league too.
    WE are in crisis.

that was probably the most gutless defensive performance i've seem for a long time, not just by Arsenal. We really need some new players. We were expected to lose, but i don't think anyone expected that scoreline.

  20. Well we have until Dec 17 to do something about that.

I think any game won't be as easy anymore. We haven't strung together two consecutive victories since before the Carling Cup. That seems like an eternity ago
