Two of the best defenders in the country when fit and on form. You have to hand it to Spurs for progressing mostly without these two this season.

 

That shows that there are financial pressure. Not sure if they refused to sign contarct extension

 

I think both have had their heads turned. Rose was especially vocal last summer but both were injured for a significant period of last season.

 

imo rose was binned for mouth. he has been available for months and not played.

alderweireld has said no new deals so he has returned but is not being played.

spurs only had a semi to.worry a pit and lost it. they were not great in league but we were actually worse lately.

it's just a thing now that the rest of prem is so far off they can bin those two and get by but v top 6 they are not great.
