There's been a certain amount of negativity floating around, arising out of our inability to score, and only having two points to show for the first three games. Hey,things could be a lot worse.Just look at todays results.Who would have forecast those results? We just need a little bit of luck, get that elusive first goal, regardless of who scores it,and then we'll be flying. Swansea City are a Premier League work in progress. "Rome wasn't.....",etc. At the moment we are above Arsenal, and Spurs,so how about that then,eh?
Yes a couple more thrashings from the Manchester pair on teams around us will see us soaring up the table lol. Avoiding relegation from the Premiership looks as simple as who lets in fewer goals against the big teams.
I think we've shown in the 2 home games, that we won't be that easy to turn-over at the Liberty, especially with the amazing capture we have in Vorm!! It's just whether we can start putting our chances away. That's the difference at this level, when you get a sniff, you have to take it. We've showed in all 3 games that we're sticking to our footballing principles, much against the general media's opinion that we'll struggle to survive by doing that & more than that, we're still creating. I think we've really been unlucky & on other times some of those would have gone in, it's a fine line. Also last week, especially in the 2nd half, I feel we didn't get the run of the ball, factors that can change games!! I think the negativity is more disappointment than anything, in that in all three games we've aquitted ourselves well (even at City) & maybe on reflection we should've got more out of the 2 games at home than we expected. Then again, things could have been so different, Vorm is testament to that.....

The lines are so fine. Against Man City, Aguero puts in a contentious cross for one goal then smashes a blinding 30 yarder for another. Yet against Bolton he misses two chances that my granny could have netted - could and should have been 5-2 to City. That and their butchering of Spurs today puts our result, at THEIR ground, in some sort of context. Hope the pundits take note.
It's almost like, "if they think they can play their way in 'OUR' league they got another thing coming!!" It's that sort of 'sniping', that's makes me so hopefull that we can 'ram-it' back down their throats!! "Of course their a good footballling side, but defensively..................!!" We are no Blackpool!!.......
I'm feeling good about things. My biggest worry is that Man Utd will come and get Vorm in the January window ! If De Gea was worth 18million, then Vorm has got to be more than double that on the evidence so far.
