I don't think so. Zidane is about to deliver back to back to back CL trophies and is a legend there. He'll get to oversee their revolution. Pochettino offers them nothing.
It would depend on what my expectations were for the investment the club had made. Expectations are very high at Real and finishing a long way behind Barca goes down like a dog’s turd on a buffet. The only thing that’s saved ZZ this year is the CL final.
But what would Pochettino bring mate? He hasn't proven that he could do better. I think he should and will stay where he is.
Well, considering the comparatively meagre resources he’s had to work with so far, I’d say that’s far from proven. Given Real’s budget, squad, and resources, who knows?....
Personally I don't want the fat Argy ****er anywhere near Stamford bridge. He has no plan B and doesn't know a cup from a cows arse.
Not sure how Poch would do at one of the really big clubs. I have always thought that what makes him great is he gets lesser players playing a style that suits them and makes them look great. This involves getting ridiculously fit and buying into his ideas about the high press 100%, the reward is it works and "nobody" players are talked about as being awesome. He did this at Saints and Spurs and really brought on a lot of players in terms of reputation and ability. As far as I am aware it seems he still doesn't really have a plan B when it comes to playing style so if the high press/high intensity doesn't work in a game then his team tend to do badly. So him walking into a Real/Chelsea/Utd with superstar players and saying "right lads we need to get super fit so we can win games and be competitive" would go down like one of those curries that ginger guy posts up. These players have already made it to the top playing a certain style that doesn't require being that level of fit so why would they bother to change? They would be thinking more "you adapt your style to suit us, not the other way round". The fans at Real wouldn't be happy signing nobody players for Poch to make great as they will want the name signings, so unless he buys all the players from Spurs who he has made big names then he will be after the top players who may not buy into his style. I may have over thought this but I don't think he would be a good fit at one of the elite clubs, we will find out at some point as he will get given one of the top jobs and he may be a good enough man manager to get the really top players to buy into his ideas.
I disagree with some of this. No Plan B - agreed Getting players super fit and press - Agreed players playing beyond ability - Agreed I think certain top players will work hard (look at what Pep has done, that City team work hard KDB being the ideal model). Whether he can get the players at Real or other top clubs working hard is a different matter. If he joins, he will need time to get the players on board or bring in his own top players who have the ability and work hard but that will mean lots of money or in Reals case letting him choose who he wants. The other thing i think he does badly is use his fringe players well. It's always the lack of quality in depth thats blamed rather than the use of his fringe players i find.
