Poch needs money to spend, will the Rude boy give what he wants, or will Poch move on. Place your vote Wumming is optional
I suspect if he goes there will be trouble, if he stays there might be double though. Toughie that's for sure
Really difficult to say tbh. He may be looking at the situation and think he's done as much as he possibly can and maybe its time to move on. Real job may well be available. Down to Levy I suppose. I don't reckon he wants to go but just wants more squad investment.
@Spurlock was offering bets out he'd be there next season a few weeks back, I doubt he's as confident now. There's no way Levy is going to start smashing budgets apart now when they have a stadium to finance so Poch will have to work to limitations a while longer and that might force his hand. I also think Poch's stock might have fallen a bit recently, I'm not entirely sure the Spurs fans would cry so much if he left.
I think he will move on, I just cant see Levy giving hm the money he needs to keep that 3rd spot, as UTD, ££££ and Pool will invest well over the summer.
Where's he going to go? Not Real, they won't offer the job to a manager who has won nothing, unless like ZZ he's a club legend. So where then? Italy? Or Chelsea? Hm. Don't think he'd do that. He'll stay until Levy sacks him and employs Claude Puel.
Would that be a step up from Spurs, really? I think he has the sort of ambition that would make a one club league an unappealing proposition. I think he'll stay at Spurs, if he can get some investment out of Levy and hold on to Kane and Erikson. He'll need to win a pot next season though; even the League Cup will do, but there has to be something. The PL is out of the question for Spurs now imo, but the CL is not beyond the bounds of possibility. And if he won them that, he could leave Tottenham as a legend.
That wouldn't surprise me. Doubt the Mancs'll sack Mourinho for a while though - the fans may not love his anti-football, but he wins things.
We will be lining Carrick up to replace Mourinho, apparently MC is rapidly developing into a top coach. I reckon that's why Faria has gone.
He knows the club and if he shows the right attributes as a coach he'll get the fans backing. It would make more sense than bringing in another ***** Moyes or LVG.
Yeah he'd get the backing but if thing didn't go well how long would United fans wait for him to mature and gain experience? Agreed you don't need another plodder like Moyes. I think Poch would be a good fit. He's done his stint at a smaller club and is ready to take the next step.
I think a lot more goes on than we ever know...to me it sounds like Poch is saying, I did my bit and got CL footy, don't forget your bit. Or he could quite simply be a bit concerned because he thinks he might not get the backing. We won't be able to go toe to toe with the only 2 teams that finished above us this season so I hope we are not compared to that..we don't spend 75 mill on players. However I agree with Poch's sentiments...Levy needs to loosen the purse strings...even though we have invested in a stadium just shy of a billion quid. The team needs some big names to move on. His stock might have dropped for others but I think for the fans we want Poch here for a long time yet. Most managers get a stupendous amount to spend at the top...Poch has done great without that. Time to try a different approach Hopefully we generate a lot more money and Levy puts that into the team. However everyone else looks at it...we have to remember we have other outgoing and they need financing and we are only little ol' Spurs. If Poch did go...I believe we are in a great situation to attract a quality manager anyway, that's life. But I'm not wishing for it.....yet.
So only Walker then? Rose has been ****e this year and he is not forgiven for last preseason interviews. Our only problem with Rose will be finding a buyer. Toby isn't out yet. His mate Vertonghen said he think's he's staying, we'll wait and see.
