Come now! We speak "ENGLISH" (even in Portsmouth) not "BRITISH" - unless you're a first language Welsh speaker! BTW, I think Pompey will be mid table, which could be either 7th-12th OR 13th -18th. Comfortable, in any case.
Ha Ha, Brecon !! You are now aware that I deliberately said "British" to include the Welsh (and Scots/Northern Irish of course), because I didn't want YOU to feel excluded. By the way, I do like your Avatar . Is she close to ewe ?! Out of interest, where do you think Saints will be at Christmas ?
Very civil of you, Woopert's, however, I speak the most widely spoken language on earth, so do not need the word "British" to feel included. 75% of the Welsh speak only English, as do the VAST majority of Scots and N.Irish. It's only really West and North Wales where the strange ones lurk! As for my avatar - I'll have you know she's regarded as a bit of all right round here!
He must be multilingual Qwerty - that's English,Welsh, and now Mandarin. He must need that for his local Chinese takeaway. "Wa yu want Mr Blecon, wa yu want ?" "Wa about nice bit of lamb ?"..............
I would like to think we will be around the top 6 at christmas but thats just hoping. The truth is i will be at the mother inlaws and the other fact is That we will be above Pompey at Christmas and all the pompey fans who gave it big sh.. last season on the old BBC 606 can eat lots of Humble pie woop
You misunderstood me Qwerty. I said most widely spoken (as in around the world), NOT most spoken (as in ONE country of 1.4 billion people). Woopert's - I don't speak Taff either, like most Taffs ( I'm not one). As for Christmas - I'm confident we'll be in the top 6.
