The fact that Levy feels the club is becoming successful enough to award himself a pay rise is something that encourages me.

 

Risk what, win a game or lose it? always better to lose it because it's good for moral

 

We will eventually win something. We're too good not to.

It's nothing more than a feeling that Poch and the players didn't go all-out for the FA Cup for fear of risking top 4.

Regardless of any of that, however, I would rather the club secure top 4 than win the FA Cup and not get top 4. We've had a fantastic season, proving what a great club we are.

I hope that Levy backs Poch's ambitions for the future.

Is that like saying they got beat? if so there are a few games this season where they didn't work like they wanted it.

Well losing in the cup didn't seem to help as your form nose dived after it

 

I don't put the same emphasis on what Poch says in the same way that hack journos do, or third-rate wumsters. Poch's English is limited and he doesn't always express himself as well as he would like, and the hack journos (who have an anti-Spurs and pro 'Pool agenda) are quick to misinterpret him.

I think that Poch is doing nothing more saying something that we would expect him to say - that he hopes that Levy will be brave enough to give him what he needs to push Spurs on to the next level. I don't read into it anything more than that.
