    When we sold Woodgate I was devastated. The lad was class. Our defence had been letting us down for years and I felt if we could keep him fit he'd be the difference between finishing 3rd or 4th and lifting the title.

    Carroll leaving brought up similar feelings, but the two moves have more than that in common; Woodgate was also sold with a thigh injury, one which got worse and worse until eventually he was sold to Boro. It'd be nice to see Carroll go the same way.

    Maybe Carroll knows he wont ever recover from his injury, and this is all just a ploy to **** over Liverpool and help us financially.

    Either that or he is a money grabbing little **** with no respect for the club he claimed to support all his life.
